I got darksiders 2 on the eshop since it was only 8 bucks, so far I have played 3 hours of it and I love it, what do you guys think of the game?

THQ is down, Vigil Games was disbanded. I don't know who has the IP, but probably if a next game happens at all, it will not play the same. Darksiders is basically dead.

Nordic game has never made an official announcement but they have basicly comfirmed a 3rd in the series since they talk about making the game so much. And the owner even came out and told us the budget for Darksiders 2 and said that Darksider 3 won't have one as high as that since they can't afford it.


Oh okay, I hope it comes to the wii u :D even if it doesn't I'll just get it on pc.

Good game. A poor man's alternative to Zelda

Great game, surprisingly long as well, spent almost 40 hours try to 100% it.

^ DS3 hasn't been announced but Nordic games has hinted that it won't be AAA budget. In any case the members of the studio that made, vigil games, have left for crytek

While its absolutely true that Darksiders 1 gameplay element were "inspired" by Zelda. The comment is absolutely not true in the case Darksiders 2 which is designed with more focus on Rpg elements especially with its gear system, side quests etc.

In any case they are both great games and do certain things better than zelda imo, especially lore and combat.

It's an okay game. I still haven't finished it. It's the kind of game you play on and off when you're in the mood. The framerate is fucking aweful on the Wii U, though.

It's funny, but even though I loved the demo, I didn't like the start of the game and stopped playing it. Both the combat and the platforming felt kind of boring. It was a game that I wanted to like but I couldn't get into.
