maybe because 3DS released first...

I have a Wii U and Monster Hunter and Mario Kart 8 (and CoD Black Ops II). Call of Duty BO2 has voice chat. No clue about Gjosts. MK8 doesn't have voice chat. It only lets you choose from pre selected text. No idea about Monster Hunter. I barely played it.

Mind elaborating on this? Most of my favorite PS3 games were single player games that didn't attempt to shoehorn competitive multiplayer into the game, and they were all the richer for it. I personally don't think this should be considered if it doesn't suit the game.

Aside from not being able to message people directly (they all go through Miiverse) and the lack of game invites, and better voice chat, I'd say the Wii U's online is light years beyond the Wii and just about on part with the PS3 back in 2006. If ALL you want to do is play multi player with random people, it's fine.

Mario Kart 8 actually does have Voice Chat but its for friends only/private mode and not for the public mode and so does SSB4 if anyone is wondering

The technological gap between the 3DS and Wii U is too high, the architecture is way too different, you can't patch that. This is something they have acknowledged and promised to fix next gen. The architecture of Nintendo's next HH and HC will be very similar. This will make it easier for Nintendo to develop/port games for both systems without having to learn different techniques, etc.
It will basically streamline the development process between Nintendo's two systems. I doubt it's going to be a fusion console, but I expect good things from next-gen.
You're basically asking for the impossible here.
Whoever said CoD Ghosts does not have voice chat is wrong.

no im not, i am not asking for stuff like cross game chat and what not. Im simply asking for them to streamline it a bit better, you dont need to input a friend code for WiiU if im ot understand? why cant that be the same for 3ds it cant be that hard. Not impossible
Well... to start, it´s free.
So, you can´t expect much. It doesn´t have cloud save or achievements (which is pointless in my opinion), you can´t chat while playing different games - you have to suspend game or play the same game for that.
Miiverse is great, thought, and I rarely seems to suffer hacker attacks.
