Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and The Last of Us both received over 200 Game of the Year Awards.

I agree. and I think that these two games will have an impact on the industry.A good impact.

I think developers will look at NaughtyDog's work and they will be be motivated to try and make their own Masterpieces.Those who don't have a strict publisher above their head at least.

Agreed, but I would also suggest Todd Howard from Bethesda.

The guy was responsible for three of the best RPGs last gen: TES:IV, Fallout3 and TES:V

Edit:  Miyazaki deserves a lot of credit for his work on Demon and Dark Souls.

I don't know the names of many game directors, so can't really say. Bruce Straley certainly deserves to be sitting with the best of them though.
