Hey all!
Some may have noticed I was absent from these forums and my gaming life in general since July 2014. Its been a crazy ride these last few months.
I accepted a new job and had to relocate my family. The new position kept me insanely busy as I learned my new space and so on.
In fact, I was so busy that I hadn't even reconnected my Wii U after moving into my new house in the first week of August. Though last night I went ahead and put it all back up, updated, and downloaded NES Remix that was my Club Nintendo gift from June/July.
Mah kids are very happy I reconnected it as I had bluffed that I was going to sell it. lol like that was going to happen. I just wanted them to go outside and make friends in the new hood and I had no free time anyways.
Well its good to be back and now let's clear some shit up.
1) Nintendo new hardware... no fucking shit. That started shortly after Wii U launched and was initially patched. Not coming until 2016 at the earliest.
2) Wii U games this last half of 2014 are awesome!! I'll be buying Smash, Toad, Bayonetta 1/2, Hyrule Warriors soon after xmas is over.
3) Wii U games 2015 - Last year of great games. Zelda and Splatoon top my list of day ones.
4) Nintendo going 3rd party... seriously. Its never happening and quit asking such a dumb fucking question. The company requires its hardware as much as its software. Its software and hardware easily fit gaming areas that others simply don't offer and connot compete in. Though it may be a few gens before they get another Wii wave to ride on.
5) I'm glad I missed the NFL thread. So much crap in this years Bears team that even Ditka stopped watching.
6) Gamepad-less WiiU - runner up the the dumbest Wii U related question behind Nintendo going 3rd party. Seriously. Do you not even understand what makes the Wii U the fucking Wii U? The gamepad is intregal to the system's core. Plus its fucking awesome. Its only draw back is the cost it added to the system. I absolutely love off-tv play and pretty much never use the TV to game.
Anywho. I'm back and will be spotted from time to time as I share my superchunkiness across the forum. Though I won't be posting as much as I used to.
