Pick any RECENT system and convince me to buy it. I've already owned most of the older Nintendo consoles. I'd like to buy a new Nintendo system some day I just keep pushing it off. What games should I buy a system for, online, store everything and anything that can convince me. My wife wants one to, I'd love to make her a gamer.

Don't buy a Nintendo console, you might make her a casual gamer. Just buy more games for your PS4 and make her a hardcore gamer, or as I like to say a "real gamer".

I'd say that you should buy a WiiU because it has many games which are very good for some multiplayer action, such as 3D World, MK8, Smash U, Rayman Legends ( not exclusive, but it uses the GamePad very well) and even NSMBU!

Wii U. BC with Wii, NES, SNES and GBA VC, with N64 coming (hopefully GC too). And first HD Nintendo console. And the online (contrary to popular belief) is great.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Go buy a Wii U, is backward compatible so if you are interested in anything that was released for the Wii you can play it. The console is 300 U$ but it comes with 2 games, online play is free, and it has great titles that you can enjoy with your wife: Smash, Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World, Hyrule Warriors, Nintendo Land and some for yourself: Wind Waker HD, Bayonetta 2, Pikmin 3, Shovel Knight to name a few.

I already tried she won't budge! But she hinted at a Wii a couple times.
