Maybe not for GTA5, but there are a LOT of PS4 owners who didn't have a PS3.

Really? I'd figure that most people that's gotten a PS4 so far had a PS3; they're the early adopters and most of them are probably long standing Sony fans

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Bolded is just such bull shit. GTA5 sold over 30m copies on PS360. People that wanted to play that game could easily have gotten it for the old consoles, when it came out. The same goes for TLOU. Releasing a remastered ONE year after it's original release is just greedy. It's not like TLOU:R added tons of new things, or changed things up all that much. It's the same thing as Capcom did with Street Fighter 4: they just kept on re-realising it. Greedy as fuck is what that is.

Why is it bullshit? Many clearly didn't. Heck, there is even a poster above you that played neither but got the next gen remasters. What do you think of publishers when they release versions of their games on PC one year later with some additional content and better graphics? Is that greed or is that a good thing because more people can play it then? What do you think of GOTY editions releasing on the same platform the original game released on, with more content for the same price?

This is NOTHING like Street Fighter 4 lmao. That got multiple re-releases on the same platforms.

What he did was making a very conscious decition NOT to get them. He even said he was hoping for a PS4One release of GTA5. I'm not too keen on GOTY releases either, although, I will say this, they do ADD stuff. What did they add to TLOUR? If it's not a timed exclusive, I think it's more fair to release a game on PC when it's released on consoles as well. Why postpone it a year? But, like you said, they do add things when releasing it later.

List fail? So they count super smash as exclusive on 2 platforms, but they don't allow velocity 2x into the list for either of its platforms?

I suppose first light qualifies for consideration as it got a retail release. But it is a bit depressing that without it there would be no 5th game for PS4's top 5.

Have you played SSB? They both arent the same game. There's your answer^

Bold: All the DLC, just like GOTY editions. Except, they also upgraded the graphics and FPS, unlike most GOTY editions...

Ofcourse publicly owned companies are greedy...

that's their point. If I was running a company, it would be idiotic not to do HD ports that would sell millions of copies. It's not hurting anyone, and is often the best version of the game.

Do I buy them? Definitely not. Except FFX HD, but that was for FFX-2 international+Lastmission.

Then why doesn't Nintendo make a Metroid Prime Trilogy HD remake? ;(

Or a Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 remake. ;o

(Not that Metroid would sell millions of copies, not on the Wii U at least)
