LOLOLOLOL no.

I get what I want out of a zelda game and I don't need GTA Zelda edition

EDIT: Also why does having DLC make it next gen? I swear you guys are asking for micro transactions and then complaining when you get them

Every zelda game is a hate/love. Everyone hates it until the next zelda game comes out.

And no, Rockstar could not do a better zelda.

Current Game Machines: 3DS, Wii U, PC.

Currently Playing: X-Com(PC), Smash Bros(WiiU), Banner Saga(PC), Guild Wars 2(PC), Project X Zone(3DS), Luigis Mansion 2(3DS), DayZ(PC)

If any it is definitely Rockstar, but I'm not fully convinced. They make awesome games, but it's a different genre, more a twist on our real lives with a lot of added salt. No fantasy like games.

Add me on Xbox: DWTKarma

I give Rockstar a 100% chance to make a Zelda worse than Skyward Sword (and Skyward Word is still a good game)

Rockstar is a hell of a developer, but I don't think Zelda is in its wheelhouse.

I'd be more inclined to hand the series off to From Software or Monolith Soft or, if it still existed, Vigil Games.

Anyway, there's no need to look for an internal or external studio to work on new Zelda games. Nintendo EAD, and R&D4 before it, have turned out over a dozen outstanding Zelda games across the last 30 years. A Link Between Worlds, the most recent, was the best in generations. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Give it to Naughty Dog. They will nail it. It will be awesome.

Better? They could make an entertaining Zelda, and it would certainly be different, but I don't think "better" is the right word.

Now, BioWare, I'd love to play their Zelda. I think Sony Santa Monica could do something incredibly epic, as well.

Lets face it. Skyward Sword was a mixed bag, Twilight Princess got lucky, and WindWaker was another love hate like Skyward.

I am nervous that Zelda U will not be next gen enough.

DLC

Visuals

Adventure

Exploration with worthwhile results.

Agree? Tell me you can't play GTAV for 1,000 of hours before running out of things to do! You cannot...

Did GTAV have the ability to sit on a toilet like Skyward Sword does? lol in all seriousness...

1) Skyward Sword was an amazing game. It perfected motion controls in the Zelda series, presented us with one of Nintendo's most unique art styles of any game to date, and gave us a backstory on the Zelda series that fans have been wanting for decades. Now we KNOW why Ganon and all the others keep coming back (because of the final battle in Skyward Sword). It is the best story the series has ever seen hands down.

2) Twilight Princess is gritty, dark, and downright sad at points but the art style fits it perfectly. The story is solid (not as good as Skyward Sword) but moments of it even pass SS (when Midna finally takes her true form again, for instance). Yes the wolf scenes can get a little tiresome but I for the most part enjoyed even those.

3) Windwaker is, by far, the most 'different' game in the Zelda series. The art style is anime, and the game feels like a cartoon (with the cute grunting noises and the hillarious facial expressions during dialogue). I am playing it now and am not far into it yet but I'm very entertained.

*I say all this because I want Zelda to be developed by Nintendo because that ensures us with a unique concept, brand new art style, and consistent innovations where as if someone like Rockstar made it the only new things the Zelda game would have would be a bigger world, more cursing, more prostitutes, and 'better' graphics (which usually means the same boring art style).

Let Nintendo ONLY be the developers of Zelda EVER.

The only good time that Nintendo outsourced Zelda games was when Capcom made it.

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

Me!

lol

You're worried Zelda won't be "next gen enough"...............but you want Rockstar, the kings of "not quite next gen" graphics/physics, to make it? Right.

No thanks. I don't want Grand Theft Zelda. I want Zelda. And just what little we've seen so far, looks fantastic.
