Absolutely none, it's a nice feature for people who own a Nintendo device but nobody is buying a Wii U/3DS because of Miiverse

He meant on specific games...Maybe read the OP?

Oh that's what he meant, I thought it was just more typical Spurge nonsense lol I couldn't figure out what the title and op had to do with each other.

I've bought a couple of eshop games after seeing a post about them being discounted on miiverse

You guys just don't realise how much influence Miiverse really has on sales! smh

And influence on Nintendo. Remember the 50Hz VC campaign amongst others.

Surely the Luigi Death Stare provided some extra MK8 sales.

Just some extra MK8 sales? I'm sure the game wouldn't have reached 2 million without Luigi's Death Stare!

Or what it can still achieve! There is a repressed Luigi in all of us~

Have you guys ever seen miiverse?

The Letter is like a huge community with everyone just hanging out posting fun/ dumb things they found or did in it. Without miiverse it would have been kucky t sell 100 copies.

Spikey walls. Everyone posts there scores or talks about how it is garbage. These are all like mini social events in the same vein as The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

You never head of anyone giving a shit about Wii eshop and that system had 100 million plus owners.

Ok, interesting. I knew miiverse had some cool people but I didn't know that the communities within directly caused people to buy games. It actually sounds like posting is a fundamental part of enjoying those games. That's rare.

The Letter is one of many games that only sell well because Miiverse.

So the games I mentioned in this thread would have blown up without it?

Those are 2 special exceptions. And both games were terrible.

Uh......................................what?

And it's "you're".

I almost never look at a community for a game I didn't already intend to buy. Sorry, Spurge. You know I'm a Miiverse kind of guy but I don't think it influences sales.
