Starcraft1 or shadow of the collossus

This.
To me games like Journey and Skyward Sword look good.
Tearaway does not at all. It just looks cheap because of the 1 colored paper pieces. The world itself is also just "flat" 90% of the time. You can do much better with paper see papercraft.
I find this question is not just relevant to games, but also films, like the new Disney Pixar and Dreamworks productions. I much prefer the old animations like Aladdin and Lion King over things like Toy Story and Frozen.
There's something very sterile and almost "too clean" about the way new films are presented compared to the hand drawn tales of previous years, which have far more heart and soul to them.
Games wise, for me, I love the way Rayman is presented. Also Tearaway on Vita.
Street Fighter IV. So much personality and love went into that game and the animations.

just imagine an open world game with these kind of graphics and art style.
Journey, Beyond: Two Souls, Nino Kuni, and Rayman Legends.
Journey and Nino Kuni are the games of which I found myself admiring the graphics for ridiculous amount of time to the point that I could hardly concentrate on playing the game.
