Recently there is a news that give us a hint,  that the next Nintendo console is coming in the near future. Some of us from avid fans, old veteran fans, new and young Nintendo fans are debating how will they become, what is their market target, will they competing  with PS and Xbox brand on the same market again, will they trying to compete with Apple, Google tablet/ handled device, or maybe creating another blue oceans by innovating on new device like what they did with Wii on 6 gen era? I created 4 faction with their own benefit and risk  .

1. Red Oceans console Market, competing on the same market with PS and Xbox brand, by creating normal console but more powerful then their competitor

2. Red Oceans Handled/tablet Market, competing on the same market with Apple, Android, Lumia on casual tablet and smart device, by creating a fusion between Handled and Console.

3. Blue Oceans Market, competing with none , like what they did before with Wii and becoming the King of their own blue Ocean market,  by creating something that never exist before or something that out of the box, but with a risk like Wii.

4. Ambiguity Oceans Market, competing with both Red Ocean console and Red Ocean handled/Tablet, but with a risk like Wii U

So where do you stand?

#1 easily.

I'm gonna guess either Blue Oceans Market or Ambiguity Oceans Market. I don't think Nintendo will just do a straight up regular console. They pride themselves on innovation. I can see them trying to come up with the "next big thing" like the Wii, and it actually working again. All they need is good hardware, amazing marketing and an impressive launch lineup. I think they know this now.

I am choosing Blue Oceans as my choice (3) choice, i know it's hard but come on Wii was great console if they can pulled again why not, but they have to make sure they keep the market profitable.

Neither. I don't think any of these decisions will bring back the glory from the olden days.

Please just go 3rd party and don't force me to own multiple consoles.

Damn Lol to many people vote for my grammar suck, i hope Mod can help fix my writing

I guess I am in the Red Ocean faction since I do think that a standard console that is third party friendly and is as powerful as the ps5/x2 is the way to go! Trying to do something like the wii may or may not work since its such a toss up imo. And competing with Apple/Google/Samsung and etc is a terrible idea and of course, the last one doesnt work proven by the wiiU

If you vote for Red Ocean Strategy then you only want to see Nintendo fail.

I grew up with Nintendo consoles exclusively until my Wii died, I never had that much of a reason to buy another one since the Wii was outdated and a thing of the past, and then Nintendo continued to disappoint me with the Wii U and its hipsteriness. If Nintendo wants to win fans like me back, the kind that grew up with the N64 and GameCube, they need to get with the times and stop trying so hard to "innovate" when in reality the only thing they're doing is attach their consoles with stupid gimmicks that take place of more important things like horsepower and userfriendliness(Is this a word?) to third parties. #killthegamepad

So I guess I'm in the red thingy, #1 for me.

I'm now filled with determination.
