There are some Ninty fans on the site for sure but very small in number, same for the Xbox users on here, I watch their Empire thread now and then and realise why they don't step outside their thread much since most of the site is becoming pro Sony.

I play my 3DS daily (AC: new leaf) and I am planning on a Wii U early next year to play some games from last year, this year and upcoming in 2015 but my PC will still be my main platform for a few years more at least.

LOL....Pro Sony? We a fanboy? I own both Xbox One and PS4 and can so they both have there pros and cons. Reason I got both systems. Foreigners just don't want to support a "american" brand.

Damn, you've uncovered my evil plot.
Don't check my bank records btw, there's absolutely zero chance that I'm an undercover Sony operative.

Im a nintendo fan not a fanboy (like many on this site....) Ive owened and played most of the gamws from nes-GC. However i never really liked the wii only playing a few games for it and i dont own a wii u and probably wont until a select few games i really really want release for it. Ive also lost touch with Nintendo because im really not liking them as a company last and this gen.

Im a Nintendo fan but im pretty open with how im dissapointed with them so i dont know where i sit :$.

Not sure if serious! This site is full of Nintendo fans! Just watch polls about the WiiU and PS4. They never represent the precentages they sell in the real world.

Sure why not...

I don't really care for nintendo all that much. Their games are for kids and apparently some adults in their 30's. To each their own.

This.

Investing in Nintendo consoles has actually made me open up to a wide variety of genres and games because of the lack of third parties. Before when I was just on Playstation, I would really only buy games that were heavily advertised and they were usually FPS or third person action games, with the occasional platformer. Now with the Wii U and 3DS, I've become exposed to tactical RPGs, RTS, life simulation, turn-based RPGs, party games, survival horror, action/hack&slash, adventure games and a TON of platformers (which I consider my favorite genre at the moment).

During the Wii era, I definitely would've considered myself a more casual Nintendo fan. I only bought the huge games like Smash Bros, Mario Kart and Mario Galaxy, and not much more. But now? I'm a lot more open to trying out each title, as long as it doesn't have a horrible reputation (*cough* Sonic Boom *cough*). So I definitely consider myself a more involved Nintendo fan now.

There's variety on Xbox and PlayStation, but you need to look for it. I think Steam it's pretty much the adequate platform to introduce yourself to other genres and get satisfying experiences from smaller games rather than the typical AAA title.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Nope. 17 year old guy right here :b

It's all about having fun for me. Some Nintendo games offer no challenge, such as New Super Mario Bros. U and Captain Toad TT, but that's the fun part of them, they are titles that put a huge smile on your face... it's hard to explain it, but it feels very nice.

I'm not saying there isn't variety on Xbox and Playstation. And Steam is a really amazing and accessible way to jump into other genres because pretty much everything is very cheap so you're not like "Well I'm dropping $60 for this game that I may or may not like..." It's really cool.
