Yup it's really annoying. They even tell you not to write them down! How am I supposed to memorize 8+ digit passwords with at least one capital and one number while making them different for all sites without writing them down?

It's annoying but for now, there's no safer alternative. Alternatives are being developed all the time but I doubt they can become mainstream reality in quite a while.

There is one way to make it even safer and easy to remember. The use of sentences. A sentence like ' i want to kill you ' is harder to break with brute force than ' K1ller.123 '. In The sentence The computer would havê 19 characters to break and much easier for humans to remember, while The word hás 9 cha racters and hard for a human to remember.
