I say bullshit PC in the name of diversification. He is also too old.

42 is too old???

Yes, but he wouldn't be 42 when he did Bond for the first time. Daniel Craig is doing SPECTRE now for next year and he will probably do another one after that which will probably be released in 2018. If that is his last movie the next Bond-movie will at the earliest be released in 2020 when Elba is 48 years old

Err... the guy doesnt fit at all. Actually... i dont think i would bother watching the films. I liked Pierce Brosnan. The current Bond isnt one a enjoyed alot either.

Clooney would be interesting but he is too expensive and he is american (aka no accent), so its not gonna happen.

This is the right answer and I'm dissappointed with myself for not thinking of it first.

Since I watched Get On Up this weekend and I also liked him in 42 I actually looking forward for Chadwick Boseman as AARHHH SPOILER in the next RANDOM FILM movie and in his own movie even though I know nothing about the character.

Dude, spoilers much. Talking about potential Bond or changes in character for Hollywood should not bring up who is in those films...

I think I need to leave the internet, I'm already annoyed I can't watch movie trailers anymore (I had 5 months of bliss after GotG).

It not much of a spoiler its been known for a while that he would be Black Panther and that the character would make its first appeareance in the next Captain America movie.  Anyway he is a very good actor he was very good as the lead in both 42 and Get On Up.

Sure, why not? Idris Elba as James Bond sounds good to me. I mean, really... we've had a black Annie, Honeymooners, and Karate Kid just for the sake of making them black so why should this be a problem? We've also had a white Prince of Persia and while we're at it let's make Jackie Chan Zorro. Why not? He's definitely athletic enough to be Zorro.

I would like to point out that I myself am an inspiring film maker and plan on remaking several 70's blaxploitation films with all white casts. Channing Tatum will be cast as John Shaft. Bradley Cooper will be in my new Superfly. Jennifer Lawrence as Foxy Brown would be brilliant. Why not?

About Clooney being Bond; once again, why not? He was an awesome Batman.

Ooooh this is DRIPPING of sarcasm :p

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Oh, and they've just made the Master in Doctor Who a woman so why shouldn't we just make Anne Hathaway Bond while we're at it?

Black people almost monopolising political correctness and leaving only the scraps to smaller and less vocal minorities is unacceptable! I want an Eskimo Bond and a Hawaiian Braveheart!
