Forums - Gaming Discussion - Ubisoft’s dastardly trick – The free game comes with a legal catch

and so they bloody should. Your getting a free game for good sakes. You can still play unity fine through to finish. so many spoilt brats around these days.

Around the Network

I have hear that the game works now, but really would you want to sue a company for a game? The process will be long for only $60? is better to take that free game.

Not exactly dastardly when the point of a lawsuit is to get compensation, and you've already been compensated

So, thy decide what compensation the consumers should get?

You're not entitled to get a financial compensation AND a material (in this case immaterial) one.
It's an offer. Accept the agreement and get a game of the same value as AC Unity or don't accept it and try to get your money back from Ubisoft.
Quite logical.

The only reason one would not be entitled to both (assuming one wins the lawsuit) is because Ubisoft prevents you from suing them.

Can't wait for the refund policies to be in place.
