I know this is news to no one, but it was to me.
Having a fairly conservative mother, I was never allowed to play the GTA games in my house, or watch/play any 18-rated content in general (the day she first found porn on my internet history.... well, the computer monitor was out of my room for about 3 months).
By the time GTAIV came out, I was old enough, but generally didn't care because I hadn't experienced the previous games.
Fast forward to last week, when my girlfriend is asking what I want for Christmas. I didn't want anything, so I just said get me a game. In the mail, I receive GTAV (she's studying in another country right now).
Hoooooooly fcking christmas, what a fantastic game! I'm playing the PS4 version, and I have to say, I'm less-than-impressed with the visual fidelity or the frame-rate, but the foliage is nice and dense. But the radio stations are amazing, the controls are tight (with the exception with flying controls, what the hell's up with those?), and the missions are well-crafted and varied.
Not really a fan of Trevor's character, although I do like Franklin and Michael (currently playing through the section where I'm forced to play as Trevor for a while, so the amount of time I'm putting into this is falling).
Actually, how much I'm enjoying this game is pssing me off a little bit. I don't have much time for gaming in my life anymore, and I'm still trying to complete Black Flag and Advanced Warfare. Also PvZ:GW was also the nuts but I had about 2 play sessions on it before GTA arrived.
