I feel really sorry for men who have been genitally mutilated. They will not be able to enjoy sex correctly, and will suffer from impotence after a time due to the lack of feeling. I can understand why some porn stars do it because they need to last extremely long periods of time, and the lack of sexual pleasure will help that.

What?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2515674/Its-official-Circumcision-DOESNT-affect-sexual-pleasure-according-biggest-study-issue.html

At each time point, there were no significant differences in sexual performance or satisfaction in men who were circumcised and those who weren't.

At 24 months, 99.9 per cent of men were satisfied with their circumcisions. In fact, 72 per cent of men said sensitivity had increased and 19 per cent said it was the same.

http://www.webmd.com/sexual-conditions/guide/circumcision

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) found that the health benefits of newborn male circumcision outweigh the risks, but the benefits are not great enough to recommend universal newborn circumcision.

The only prolonged risk of circumcision is a higher chance of injuring the penis -- and I don't often run through the jungel naked. The other risks are only applicable after being circumcised (i.e. infection).

I personally have no problem with circumcision as there's only one low-probability lifelong drawback.

Yea, I actually looked it up and the only ones I saw saying it increased sensitivity seemed like strong advicates for having the foreskin restored.  Wonder if they are making money off of that, lol.  Some even try to claim that circumcision made it more painful for women.

Now, I'm sure it's a slightly different feeling if you are uncircumsized, but I'm perfectly happy feeling it rub against nothing but the inside of a woman's vagina.

Rule 3/4 is the most unfair for men.

The circumcision one is a stretch, but I generally agree with the list.

patriarchy?

Who do you think made these laws? Don't men make up 80% of US elected officials?

the laws regarding child protection are written in a mostly fair way, it's the bias in favor of women when deciding parenting rights that makes up the discrepancy of 80/20.

when feminists claim they are for equality of rights between genders, they should be fighting tooth and nail to fix this obvious discrepancy, that's all I'm saying

yes... tons and tons and tons...

http://singleparents.about.com/od/support/p/single_parent_statistics_us.htm

quote "In 2009, the U.S. Census Bureau determined that mothers represented 82.2% of all custodial parents, while fathers represented 17.8%."

patriarchy?

Because 82% of mothers chose custody. What's the % of fathers that simply abandoned their families around that time? It's probably the same. like it or not but 17% is still a lot of people. It's propaganda bullshit. If men really didn't have the right then that number would be 0%  You are looking at 1 statistic out of context and without considering other relevant statistics. It's propaganda 101 and complete bullshit.

If you're making such a bold claim I'm sure you'll present some data to back that up, right? I'm sure that if we pick the statistics on court rulings regarding parental custody and child support we will see a perfect 50% distribution across both genders, correct?

I didn't know that there was another statisctic that could be more in context to what I was arguing against, but feel free to present it.

I'm sure that when the subject comes up regarding women in gaming you're just as up in arms explaining that they aren't in the gaming industry for fault of their own :)

1) I've never really understood the hubbub about male circumcision. Maybe because it happened when i was too little to remember anything, while female circumcision *tends* to be undertaken around puberty and more or less for the explicit purpose of reducing their sexual agency, which is why it is monstrous. Male circumcision seems to just be a matter of taste (although i can only speak from my experience, and don't talk about that sort of thing with others. Don't know what the data says)

2) Funnily, we were discussing that on another site. The draft is more or less an anachronism anyway, so this isn't anything that will become an issue anyway, or if and when it *does* become an issue, we'll have bigger fish than social justice to fry.

3/4) The "male abortion" is essentially an unsolvable problem. Deadbeat dads were a huge problem in terms of childhood poverty: child support payments can make a huge difference in the child's life if the mother is poor. Giving the man an ability to "out" with no strings attached is entirely different from an abortion, which is an emotionally costly choice for the woman (even if there weren't such anti-abortion stigma in this country). There would have to be some material incentive for men to *keep* their paternity status, something who's loss would be worse than the benefit gained from ditching child support payments.

5) I want to say the US has fixed that, at least in a legal sense. There is definitely the perception that men can't be raped, but i'm pretty sure a man being forced, by a person of either gender, to doing a sex act against his will has been raped.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Also women have more rights when it comes to marriage and divorce.

This is nothing. In Brazil, if you don't sign for draft, you can neither go to college or have an oficial job (that counts for job years before retirement and has working rights).

Men only and it's in the top 3 of most pathetic things I know.

In the US, men have to declare themselves eligible for the draft in order to receive government-sponsored financial aid for college. Or at least that's how it was when I graduated from high school a decade ago.

And as I said, in brazil, you can't even get a diploma without this BS.

Both but keeping the kids is more on the side of parental rights. Women don't just get a portion of the savings. They get half or more of any property, bussinesses or assets regardless if it was before or during the marriage. Prenupital agreements are the only way guys can shield themselves from it. Judges are more likely to side with women in divorces.

The only way guys benefit from marriage is that you get a little more parental rights than if you just dating. Everything else is the woman's favor.
