Nah its a great system if you like the niche games it has but its nothing special that will be praised for years and years. Definitely Sony's worst console... although tbh Sony have never made a bad console so yeah =P

Only worst from the perspective of how it was received by the consumer with respect to sales. No doubt about it there; these are the type of sales that make a company exit a market and I seriously question whether SCE will ever release another dedicated portable gaming system again. 

From a hardware and platform perspective, particularly when paired with its sibling PS4, it's arguably the best handheld gaming system ever developed. Remote play, cross play and to a much lesser extent, cross buy all make it a fantastic satellite gaming device with the ability to access/play a library of platform independent games as a standalone system. 

But in terms of platform specific software support, due almost entirely to a indifferent consumer reception, it will go down as the least supported gaming system (PSP Go doesn't count as its own platform) SCE has ever released. 

It's a shame too since the platform deserves so much more. 

I bought a vita today, too! MediaMarkt sells the Mega Bundle (Vita + 8 GB + 10 Games) for 99€ this week, so I couldn't resist. Kind of a christmas gift for myself, haha :)

I'm highly interested in Persona 4 and a lot of JRPGs. As downloads i would like to play FF7 (wasn't able to play it on TV, because the resolution on the big screens let my head hurt after about half an hour :( ) and Disgaea 1 :)

All of them are on my list :) Tearaway. Gravity Rush and Uncharted are in the Adventure Mega Bunde, together with an 8GB card for ~45€, so I'll buy this next year :)
