well if toad was ale to do around 80k in US first week
guess kirby could do 80k-130k with that price first week :)

Pretty cool. Not every game needs to be $60, or should be for that matter. Kirby looks like a lot of fun, so I'm happy that Nintendo gave it a more reasonable price.

No, not price everything at $59.99.

Some companies do this instead of charging full price. Nintendo does this sometimes with the 3ds game. Most are $39.99 but might putthem down to $34.99 MSRP.

That said, definition of smaller game? I bet many games are smaller than this yet are priced at $60 ;)

nonthing wrong with AA games

too many AAA games these days so this is nice

plus its only $40 which is as much as like smash bros 3ds pokemon and other 1st party games

Nintendo isn't giving away anything free here. They price it $39.99 because you get $39.99 of content. It's a 2D platformer that recycles many ideas from its predecessor (Canvas Curse and every other 2D Kirby games really). It wouldn't have been priced as such if it were a more ambitious title.
