Lol...I agree.  I couldn't get into the first Monster Hunter either.  No storyline...I have to have a good story.

I would go for 450.000-550.000 on 1st week.

The game is really something in Japan.

Also, MHP2 went on to sell another 900k (LTD) after it's launch week, FFX sold 1.1 Million (LTD) after it's launch week (Which was 2.5x bigger than MHP2 mind you)

The only reason we can still say MHP2 had better legs is when we compare it to it's Launch/consecutive week ratio, however, this is no indication whosoever that MHP2G (The exact same game with a few bonus's) will sell around 650k launch week, it's just not reasonable. (I'll refer you to my second post on this thread)

The only reason MHP2 seems like it's doing so well is because it's the only game that ever charts because there's almost no other PSP games that sells well, so everyone that's looking for PSP software always see MHP2.
