Movies these days....Soon they will have a movie of assassinating a president or something.

The 5 Biggest Theater Chains decided to drop the movie. They're the ones who made the decision for Sony. Why would Sony release the movie to a set of small no-name movie theaters? It's a much better idea to have a huge digital/DVD/streaming release to capitalize on all the controversy.

They already do. Many of them in fact.

In the message, the hackers told Sony, "Now we want you never let the movie released, distributed or leaked in any form of, for instance, DVD or piracy." It reportedly went on to demand that, "everything related to the movie, including its trailers, as well as its full version down from any website hosting them immediately."

Lol, I have a feeling that all this controversy will end up with a lot more seeing this movie than they would if NK just had not done anything.

After all this commotion, I might even consider downloading it for free, but it will probably end up being crap like any other recent Hollywood comedy.
