An Hd update for 60 dollars... :/ 

For somebody who never played the original?  You bet.  Super Mario Galaxy 2 has a value of ~$25 used, and ~$45 new.   If Nintendo did a HD remaster you can bet that they would charge $50~60 new.

Nintendo is charging $60 for 1 year old SM3DW, but you think there's something wrong with Rockstar charing $60 for an enhanced version of 1 year old GTA V?

It's not really a matter of price, but of quality.  Price is determined by demand, if people were not buying these remakes at $60 then they would drop.  These games are just 1 year old, they come with DLCs that cost extra before, and they're enhanced, that's why the quality & value is still high.  Over time the quality will be passed by other titles, and the value and therefore price will drop.  TLOU Remastered is now $30.

So essentially the limiting factor here for other consoles is the user score. It's rather arbitrary but if the PR department can take advantage of it, why not.

Well there are 21 games on Vita with 85 or over meta score, so it's certainly not the 19 to 8 in the ad of the OP.  

19 3DS games, 21 WiiU games, 23 PS4 games, 14 XOne games.  So yeah, don't think they're winning that comparison without the user score part.

To all the people downplaying it's like you don't even understand what PR and marketing is.

People can bitch and moan all they like about user score and why their favourite game on their favourite system was unfairly treated but the facts of the case are that Nintendo's user scores are often better. Why wouldn't they use this? The fact that the score means almost nothing is irrelevant in this instance. It makes a headline that, at a glance and for the average consumer, paints Nintendo in a positive light.

If Nintendo were to take the advice of many in this thread they would have a black and white ad admitting that their systems isn't selling that well, doesn't really have third party support, doesn't have fancy paid online, doesn't have that many highly rated games despite being out longer, and they would have chosen a metric that shows the competition in a better light. Hell why not just get Nintendo to actually do the competition's advertising for them.

Well if you notice the Vita has 7 games of its 21 (33.3%) while he WiiU and 3DS have 19 of their 40 (45%).  The 3DS and WiiU are slightly less trolled than the vita, but mostly it's that the PS4 and XBone are trolled massively with only one game on all of those 37 counting for this comparison.  

Actually looking at it Nintendo seemed to have fucked up the comparison (unless I'm missing some cutoff date somewhere that's taking out one of these games), by my count there are 2 PS4 games, and 9 Vita games that fit their criteria. There are 10 3DS games and 10 WiiU games. So the 3DS and Vita are similarly trolled within reason while the WiiU is just massively less trolled than its console counterparts.

Good for Nintendo for knowing the definition of FUN, their exclusive games are incomparable to PS4 and XOne exclusives. Entertainment doesn't rely on graphics or visuals, it relies on the GAMEPLAY (something Nintendo is very aware about ;) )

It's because Nintendo gamers aren't trollers or feeders while PS4 and XOne...well, that's another story! ;)
