Wii U below 200k :(

3DS seems to be doing good though.

Japan always was the reason for PS3 to be close to 360 The gap in the west is incredebly in favor for 360.

Japan gave the boost to the Ps3 whereas it never really made any decent numbers-per-week for 360, but isn't Europe the main place where Ps3 pulls the biggest numbers in comparison to the 360?

No, that's Japan. The gap there is bigger than in EU.

I'm not surprised by those WiiU numbers sadly... :/

Why VGC removed 200-250k from both PS4 and X1 ? They should be at 16.8/16.9M and 9.6/9.7M.

both were about 200k overtracked in US going by the NPD leaks, I guess that got adjusted

Why did MS even launch in Japan? 850 consoles sold? Does it even make financial sense for them to be there?

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Xbox figures slowing down quite a bit, still doing great though, will probably win December NPD. PS4 still beasting worldwide though very comfortably and increasing their market share over X1 and Wii U. The Wii U and Vita though... Such a shame as they are both great consoles. I loveeee my OLED Vita.

Global chart from 29th Nov week post adjustments

Xb one came damned close to outselling PS4 globally for one week. Given the difference is <5% it makes it a statistical tie.

As to this week's numbers. Big fall, as expected, in the USA for all concerned. But interesting that there was a drop in Europe as well. Probably largely due to the UK having a Black Friday of almost similar proportions to the USA. Will be very interesting to see the rise for w/e 13 Dec

Europe numbers side by side:

Xb one dropped more than PS4, which would be consistent with the effect being mostly due to the UK. Ration for the 29th week as <2:1, now it's back over 2:1, 2.4:1 to be more precise.

360 is selling amazingly in the USA. It's almost outsold PS3 for the week. I expect for the final 3 weeks of December it will outsell PS3 globally, because of USA sales. TBH I'm surprised that PS3 is still selling at the rate it is.

Wii U is down year on year. My lord! with 2 of it's biggest franchises now availabe, and one only a few weeks into its lifespan Wii U suffers YoY declines for 2 weeks running, being the 2 biggest hardware weeks of the year so far. The 'd' word is just begging to jump out. 2015 is looking to be a very tough year despite some more of Nintendo's major franchises coming along.

Europe in a goldmine for Sony, much bigger than NA now. Really impressive.

Europe and, to some extent, Japan, is the reason Ps3 still keeps being on top of the 360.

Europe and Japan was the reason PS3 to be over 360 now in the Global.  In NA 360 really crushed PS3 though :)

This Vita sales are horrible. :(

Interesting that EU and NA are both ~500K for PS4+X1, big difference is how they skew between those two systems.
