____

mine are

Intel Core i7 920

6GB DDR3 ram (3x2GB tripple channel)

2x Nvidia GTX 260s running in SLI , i am currently running only 1 in my PC to save power since i am not playing that much on the PC anymore

Mine's getting a bit old, it came with a GeForce 9500GT 512 MB which I upgraded once. Originally it also had Windows Vista, but through my University I was able to upgrade that to Windows 7 Ultimate...

Intel Core2Duo @3.06 GHz
4GB RAM (I think DDR2 but I'm not sure)
Nvidia GeForce 560Ti 2GB

It still runs what I want it to run adequately enough. Even newer stuff like Rome II Total War runs and looks fine.

Really time for me to upgrade

Intel 3570k
Asus GTX 680
16GB RAM
256GB SSD(half of that for games)
2TB HDD (all of it for porn)

If only Nvidia and Intel would hurry up...

I also have a small server running which is currently basically just a NAS.

i3 3220T
8GB RAM
128GB SSD
4x3TB HDD in RAID 5

I just ordered a gaming laptop, here are the specs:

Screen Size = 17.30 inches Touchscreen

Optical Drive Type = BD-RW

Processor =

  • Intel Core i7-4870HQ Quad Core Processor (6M Cache, 2.5GHz - 3.7GHz) 47W

RAM =

  • 32GB DDR3L 1600MHz RAM

Hard Drive =

  • 128GB mSATA SSD + 1TB 7200rpm HDD

Graphics Coprocessor =

  • NVIDIA Geforce GTX 980M 8GB GDDR5

Brand Name = MSI
Series GT72
Operating System windows 8

It is near the end of the end....

Intel Pentium 3560Y @ 1.2 GHz
Intel Integrated Graphics
4 GB RAM
128 GB SSD

It's kinda slow, but it's enough for Office and Internet. Civ 5 even runs quite decently. But yeah, I bought it because of portability (Vaio Tap 11), that thing doesn't even weigh 1 kg. And you can use it as a tablet! Which I rarely do...

I also play some emulators every now and then with the DualShock 4 connected. :)

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

Uh, let's see, I always have trouble remembering arbitrary numbering systems.

3.00 gigahertz AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition
8GB RAM
HD7850 2GB GDDR5
Windows 7

I don't give a rat's hindquarters about ultra settings, so it's probably going to be a little while before I upgrade, though some recent games have been right up against my PC's specs for 'minimum' settings.

Unchanged since spring 2012:

Now is probably the best time ever to buy a gaming laptop. I think the 980M is the first mobile GPU that really kicks ass.

Are you planning to upgrade next year too?

Yeah, I was doing a lot of research, and it seemed I could finally buy a new laptop without having to sacrifice a lot of power.
