Will Zelda Wii U and Star Fox Wii U make use of amiibo? It certainly sounds like it.

During Shigeru Miyamoto’s recent interview with iJustine, he indicated that both titles will feature amiibo integration of some sort. Specifics were not shared, however.

“I can’t really say just yet… but we do plan on doing something so that people who have amiibo will get some enjoyment out of having amiibo and using them in those games.”

I would be more surprised if there wasn't any support for amiibo in these games! It would be neat if for the arwing, the amiibos ment like a custom paint job for the ship! Cause that would be awesome

Already have my Fox, Link and Zelda amiibo. Now all I need is to make sure I get my hands on Sheik, Toon Link, Ganondorf and Falco and I'll know I'm all set :)

I hope you unlock dungeons with amiibo. If Activision can get away with it, why not Nintendo? 

You shouldn't be able to play everything in a €60 game without paying €150 extra imo. Also, why isn't Zelda a yearly franchise? And why isn't it a fps?

This all might sound ridiculous, but the real ridiculousness is the fact that Activision is really doing stuff like this and getting away with it. Meanwhile people get thrown in jail for far less.

As long as Amiibos aren't mandatory, then I'm perfectly fine with them being in those games!

Well this comes as no surprise. As others have said I'm fine with it so long as it doesn't impact my overall experience with the game; and so long as it's optional (which I'm sure it will be).

First I was like Õ.ô wuuuuut? Then I was like :,D loooooool! Now I know that you were joking about the original Zelda being a bad game as well :D good one, good one!

But yeah, what Activision does is shitty as hell, but what's worse is that people accept it and pay for it. So, shame on them really. The gamers that is. Shame on them.
