It's expected. DA is an open world WRPG. Skyrim showed that critics absolutely love this.

This just my opinion and will be highly controversial. But outside of mods (on PC) Skyrim looks and plays completely last gen compared to DAI:I. I dont think I can ever touch it again really >_>

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Its been forever since I got this hooked on a game. Im actually scared (in a good way) of another playthrough because of just how long it takes to do everything XD.

First playthrough was 55 hours and I just did stuff to level up but that was my 'Story' playthrough. I'm on my second playthrough now, where I'll do a few extra sidequests, try and actually be nice to certain characters instead of ignoring them like last time, doing different options that the first and already 19 hours in and I only intended to 'start' it before Christmas, there are 2 massive areas I never visited in my first play through and some areas only did like 2 missions then left.

... basically, good luck in not getting drawn in. I think I'll be playing this game for a while. Maybe until the next one. :)

Hmm, pie.

People are trying to push nintendo out of the console business because they aren't following suit with the money hungry tactics of Sony and MS. Nintendo is keeping it real and using their old school business model which is the way gaming should be. Sony and MS are trying to force everything digital with tons of dlc/microtransactions and all sort of shady practices that are NOT consumer friendly.

Why? Because there is support for these operations? Nintendo put DLC and digital sales support on the Wii U too, if they were against it they wouldn't make it available.

The only one trying to push Nintendo out of the business is Nintendo itself with the way they manage their home consoles.

I didn't played DA:I yet to create an opinions about how it compares to Skyrim. But I think is pretty reasonable that it feels "next-gen": more memory surely helps a lot.

Skyrim was GOTY and had a very high meta. These kind of game resonates with what the critics love to play. And that's considering that Skyrim had a lot of issues: bad animations, bad facial expressions and tons, tons of bugs. It's probably one of the most bugged games last gen, but its gameplay and core concept were enough to compensate.

Nintendo games have won several GOTYs in 2007, 08, 10, and 13, there is no media bias

How are they trying to force anything on you? You dont have to touch any DLC or Mmicrotransactions and you can buy physical copies of games.

Why dont you learn more about Nintendo's ''old school buisness model'' and how they handled it back in the 90's when they were top dogs? There is a reason why most 3rd parties avoid Nintendo as much as they can

It's not that the media hates Nintendo, it's just that their tastes are awful.

"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"

"You don't agree with my opinion so you are wrong"

both are good games, but one of them had to win and there isn't some stupid anti nintendo/japan conspiracy behind it.

Tastes are different, people enjoy different things. It's not like you can measure the qualitiy of a game objectively (i know, i know framerates and stuff, but resolution alone does't make a game).

meh...in the end does it really mean anything
