MH5 on the Vita would make people happy I think. Capcom just sees the install base of the Vita, not thinking about how much the game would sell Vitas...

Even though DQXI has been hinted on consoles, MH5 would be an unbelievable coup for the PSV at this point. I wouldn't be shocked if the 3DS ultimately got DQXI tbh (though it is highly unlikely).

It's not huge like in Japan but it's definitely not pitiful, check DQ VIII/IX, their sales are still pretty respectable in the west.

Since when was 1.4m ''pitifull''? Thats what DQVIII managed n the west. In anycase I wasn't talking about the chances of sony money hatting, simply correcting the later half of your statement.

A PS4 version would obviously sell notably better because of the west as we've contribute over 1m to the last 2 entries in mainline series and the PS4 will proabbably have quadrubled wii U sales by release. Not to mention the PS4 has an obvious impending or already existing JRPG fanbase with all of the games that are coming to it both in west and in Japan (Persona 5, FFXV, Kingdom Hearts 3) and an entry in the franchise itself in the form of DQHeroes. All things considered the PS4 has a much healthy future, actually has an abundance of RPGs coming when compared to the Wii U in Japan, so really a PS4 version would be more succesfull universally. Theres no sensible line of logic to really doubt that.
