Hey VGC!

It's come to our attention that several game walls (these ones) have become a little...well, "rowdy" let's say. Now, game walls are still a part of the site and, as with every other part of the site (threads, article comments, wall posts etc.) the forum rules have to be followed. As such we will be watching these more closely and moderating people who break the rules from this point, the same as anywhere else on the site.

This has always been a rule and people have indeed been banned for comments on game walls recently. However the scenario has got to a point where we felt it was needed to clarify that, if you break the rules anywhere on the site then you will be moderated. One issue with these game walls is that there is no report button. So, if you see something that is mod-worthy then please send myself or another moderator a PM and we'll handle it.

What was wroth a moderation on that page? I was expecting something juicy cone.

I threw a dummy out. I didn't want to overDrive home my point before Sunset fell.

There are better examples, but the point is that there is a lot of trolling/flaming/baiting happening on some game walls and it needs to stop.  There is no report button on game walls, so if users see any of that going on they should pm a mod!

I understand your point, but that example is terrible. I see nothing at all moderation worthy in it, unless someone saying the PS4 version tripled the XBO versions sales, or someone saying something along the lines of "People think resolution doesn't matter , yet look at these numbers" as a bad thing, which it shouldn't be seeing as this is in fact a sales site.

If you have a much better example, as you said in a follow up post then you would have done better to have placed it in the OP.
