If the patch is, indeed, the "full game on Xbox One" (as in, it's the digital download), wouldn't XBone owners no longer need the disc to play, just like any other digital purchase? Then they could just sell the physical game on eBay or something.

the disc is always just for DRM. all games (afaik) are copied in full on both ps4 and xbox. something about read rates for discs not being fast enough for this generation of games.

ubisoft or microsoft? it's not like this is the first game to have a much, much later patch size on xbox than ps4. i think you'll find the reverse situation (same size patch on both) to be a much more difficult senario to find.

Wtf? Then I think I got the same issue Shadow of Mordor. I have the game physical, but when it downloaded a patch it said 23GB.

Just ended up deleting the whole thing. Kinda wanted to play the DLC too.

edit: Seems more of a MS problem....

The game worked at release

The patch does improve things, but it was working fine beforehand (PS4). Clearly something has gone wrong and it's trying to download the whole game rather than the patch. I'm sure it will get fixed shortly

I wish people wouldn't get so hysterical
