Dino Crisis Reboot Release Date Set For 2015 As Capcom Shows The Game At TGS 2014! Is Regina Going To Be The Protagonist For The Reboot?

Reboot has been confirmed!

According to the Official Xbox Magazine UK Capcom will announce a Dino Crisis reboot later this year. This is surprising, considering that Capcom is currently more interested in developing new IPs rather than bringing back older ones, as confirmed by "Resident Evil: Revelations" producer Masachika Kawata some time ago

"Capcom has obviously never shied away from bringing back our older IPs to new generations, but I do think it's more important for us to focus on creating new IP as we move forward."

Because the news was reported by the Official Xbox One Magazine, fans have speculated that the "Dino Crisis" reboot is going to an Xbox One exclusive similar to the "Dead Rising 3" game by Capcom which is an Xbox One exclusive game.

Cyberland has reported that the Dino Crisis Reboot has been allegedly shown by Capcom behind closed doors at TGS 2014 and that the Dino Crisis Reboot release date has been tentatively set for 2015.

The "Dino Crisis" series hasn't received a new game in quite a long time. The first game has been released on the first PlayStation back in 1999. The sequel "Dino Crisis 2" was praised for distancing itself from "Resident Evil" and for making it a more action oriented game but its sequel "Dino Crisis 3" was hated by fans for going with a "dinosaurs in space" theme instead of using real dinosaurs like "Dino Crisis 1 and 2"

Fans are hoping that this rumor is true as they say the Dino Crisis franchise has been dormant for so long and they are craving for a new Dino Crisis game.

User "monkeytheluffy" posted on gamefaqs, "Dino Crisis is the best dinosaur game franchise of all time and it is great that they are planning to make one again after a long time! I just hope they stay true to their roots though. DON'T MAKE DINOSAURS IN SPACE AGAIN CRAPCOM!"

Dino Crisis 3 was terrible beyond any doubt. But the fact that Capcom didn't try to reboot the series last gen feels weird for me. The series always had so much potential.

Not neccessarily. A lot of it sounds like speculation. Its the second time we havve heard about a Dino Crisis reboot this year though. 1 in the xbox magaine and then this at TGS so it very well could be in the works and shown off sometime in 2015. At least thats what im hoping for.

And with Jurassic World coming out in June it would be the perfect time to show it

I wouldnt hold my breath tbh. They needed help from Sony to make a game in their best selling franchise, so I doubt theyll make a new Dino Crisis for a good while...

I loved DC1 and DC2. The first one was more survival and I enjoyed my panic moments in the game, the second one was more action but it felt so good to kill so many dino's with the combo system.

But If I may choose I want a Dayz/Dino crisis mix of game.

Well if the first rumor is to be believed it would be a xbox exclusive so it would fit with the trend capcom has been going in for the last two years
