PS4 line up looks pretty nice. But I think Bloodborne delay will hurt. Bloodborne was scheduled for February 5th, but got delayed until late March.

An exclusive title like Bloodborne as a starter was perfect. A game that could move a good amount of units, and then multi games to keep going with a positive trend. Since the game will release after the multi games now, I expect that these games will sell far better in other systems (probably the same with Bloodborne as a starter, but at least a smaller difference).

line up is good, but until march is not strong enough now.

Why wouldn't they just buy the PS4/PS4 versions knowing that Bloodborne is coming in a few weeks?

Because Japan doesn't buy a thing until it's in shelves. If they don't buy PS4 until the 26th of March, they will stuck and keep playing PS3 until that day.

I guess. Doesn't make much sense to me. I figured people who are interested in Bloodborne would have the foresight to also buy the platform with the other games they're interested (especially because all of the multiplats are way better on PS4).

Bloodborne in the beginning of Fabruary could give more momentum, but I think it won't change that much in the macro vision, because Bloodborne in the end of March will instead give a good boost in the end of March and April which are generally very weak months.

If they buy the PS4 versions, they will be second hand then. Because when Bloodborne will be released used market will be quite big for this games.

I get you. I just think very differently as a consumer.

I want FF15, Type 0 HD, Yakuza, and Bloodborne. Bloodborne is my real system seller. Why not buy a PS4 when Yakuza comes out, so I can play best version of a game I'm interested in? Doesn't make sense to play worse version because I want to delay spending my money a month, but I know everyone's financial situation is different.
