If I recall correctly Disgaea always take a good ~6months to be localized. It's good enough as they always do a great job with it.


Do these games require that I play the last ones? Or are they like final fantasy every game is a new story pretty much with new characters?

They're like Final Fantasy. The characters from previous games do make cameo appearances.


Kind of off topic but maybe you know. Are the persona games similar to this?

Persona games are similar to Disgaea, but they are, how should I put it, more connected to each other. This is especially true for Persona 3 and 4 since a lot of spinoff games have P3 and P4 characters such as P4 Arena and Persona Q. Spoilers if you don't want to know without playing first: In Persona 4, you actually visit the high school from Persona 3.

It can do more than 300k i guess lifetime, without any problem, like they did for disgaea 3.

Disgaea is more popular now (well, a little more,...), and it's the first one for the new ps4, and one of the first real japanese games only for ps4, so a lot will buy it, like me.
