We are to quick to say something is dead. The N64 sold 1/3 of the PS numbers, and it made profits for Nintendo and it's fondly remembered to this day. Same with the Gamecube, the original XBox and the Vita. Let them be profitable first and then make numbers. The PS3 needed three or four years before being profitable, and it sold more than 80 million units.

I bet you don't say this about the PS3 coming second do you? 

and with the flow or games coming thoughout 2015 (not just holiday 2015 like some other console) the PS4 will just ravage everything everywhere... well, hopefully Sony will lower the price of entry as many people are also sensible to pricing...

So having a third of the sales outside of US+UK is being "dead"? This is just ridicolous.

Just going by Europe as an example.

25th of nov 2006: Total european sales for 360 stood at 1.760.472. These numbers include the UK though.

29th of nov 2014: Total european sales for X1 stand at 2.453.564. Of those sales, 1.264.367 can be attributed countries other than the UK.

So, the UK stands for 49% of X1 sales. For the 360 to have been EQUAL to X1 sales in rest of europe at the 25th of november 2006, UK sales then would have accounted for 29% of all european sales.

No, the X1 is actually doing excellent in europe, even if you do not include UK (it is most likely outperforming the 360). It is just that the PS4 is doing amazing numbers.

Shame. But most of us commenting here are from North America. So that data is nice to look at but the home front is where its at.

It just means no Japan. And to be fair, XO doesn't have that many killer unique games yet. I have one and, outside the three games mine came with, I only own one other that is exclusive.
