Capcup 2014 was HYPE this year and then announcing a whopping 500k prize for Capcup 2015.

In my opinion RE Revelations 2 is shaping up quite nicely.

All they need to do is announce the big one Resident Evil 7 and people would lose their minds.

Personally I hope RE7 will stay more action oriented like RE6 (sorry not a fan of the clunky and horrible controls of earlier RE's)

But I digress. Do you thnk Capcom is making a comeback?

i never had a problem with the quality of their games, it was their horrible dlc practices and the re-releases of games that i disliked a LOT, and actuallly if im not wrong it was those practices that made them go almost broke at the begining of 2013 (at one moment they only had 250 million on the bank which is actually really low numbers for a company like capcom), so i hope they learned from that and wont repeat those mistakes.

Capcom making a comeback? Capcom has always been there, on the top. No one makes as awesome games as Capcom.

You forgot the great success of MonHun 4 and 4G. Western release of the latter will be 2015. And will not another Ace Attorney?

In my opinion RE1 was the best RE to date, but that is my opinion. It looks more and more like the greatness of RE is dead. But OK, if you like RE6 more, then go for it.

Overall I think Capcom is OKish. Not great, but not bad either.

No way, stop doing remastered

Street Fighter looks great, no doubt.

Other than that, I'm not so sure. It's hard for me to get excited about a remastered game from 2013 or about Revelations 2, considering its episodic release. It's even more difficult to get excited about the upcoming port of the GCN remake of Resident Evil.

Considering Capcom's ugly, cynical history with DLC, iterative sequels, and money-grubbing remasters, it's hard for me to give the company much praise.

-ST5 is causing a lot of controversy due to its exclusivity for PS4. Not a good start for a game, and whether they made the inevitable improved versions multiplat or exclusive, people is going to be angry at the game and at Capcom.

-DMC:DMC was a very polarising and controversial game that sold poorly on PS360. Not the best choice for the franchise on this gen.

-Revelations 2 is going to piss off its fans on WiiU and 3DS, the biggest platform for the game.

-Resident Evil 5 and 6 were poorly received. RE7 will sell well, but for name only.

It really desn't seen as bright as you make it look.
