Of course, TLOU will beat titanfall easily. The xbox 360 and wii players that switch sides and got a ps4 will probably pick up a copy of TLOU especially since most of those new players to playstation haven't played TLOU on the ps3. Titanfall is puttering out and is a online only game. The FPS genre in general is over saturated. TLOU will keep selling this entire console generation and probably longer.

Nice one, comparing a new IP at the end of the gen against the sequals of the already established franchises. Lets compare the first instalments of those games against TLoU, which is now at around 10-11M (PS3+4)

TLoU outsold the first MK on SNES

...the first GTA on PS1

...the first Halo on original Xbox

...the first COD as well

all by a considerable margin, mind you

The only first instalment it didnt outsell was Mario Bros which was bundled with every NES sold at  no extra price

How many new IPs of the last gen outsold TLoU? Not a single one

TLOUR has great reviews and has only been out since July.
Titanfall has good reviews, but not like TLOUR and came out March.

Original Gears sold around 6 million. Minecraft on PS360 sold around 8 million, tho I dont know much it sold digitally (not counting TLoU digitals either). Wii sports, its the same case with Mario Bros; bundled with every console sold at no extra price

It's dangerous to say things like that around here! :P 

The fact we are having this conversation amazes me. It's crazy to think all Sony needed to do to beat Titanfall was re-release a game from last gen. EA fucked up not making this for the PS4. 

Not just last gen, but only last year, and while it was still selling reasonable numbers on the last gen machine, and still is, all things considered.

The Last of Us, the more people buy a PS4 the more it will sell. Titanfall will still sell but I'm guessing many will just wait for the sequel, specially when the MP is slowly dying and there's barely a single player campaign.

Why do you expect the purrrtty graphics to change things for you? If you didn't get into it before you probably won't now. I love the game, but I also know that it isn't for everyone, even people with your sort of awesomeness factor are allowed to now like it.

Got it for free with my slim PS3.  I was addicted to Beyond Two Souls (don't judge me!!) and then Batman and then one thing lead to another.  When I found out about the remaster, I just figured I would wait for the superior version.  I know it's a good game.  Been avoiding spoilers for over a year!!
