Currently, these 2 games are the best selling console exclusive games for PS4 and Xbox1.  For black friday, Last of Us PS4 sold a massive 465k and majority was probably bundled.  Titanfall was also heavily bundled upon release.  Currently, these games are neck and neck, but I expect Last of Us to pull ahead significantly.  However, Titanfall should get a bump in sales, when Titanfall 2 is announced, but I don't think that will be enough.

Titanfall is averaging around 3 - 5 k playing online at any time. Dismal numbers of an online only game. For some reason word of mouth has completely died on this game, despite it being the best FPS game released this year. Nothing will cause the sales to bounce back.

MS missed an opportunity to include this game in its holiday bundle line up. Respawn just jack all in the content updates etc.

TF will be lucky to reach 2.5 mil. TLOU should reach 4 million.

The Last of Us will beneficiate from exclusivity abd all of newcomers from wii and 360. Titanfall will stop selling when EA makes the next one (probably multiplat).

Its an interesting question, Titanfall had colossal hype and also came out 3 months earlier.

Last of us was GOTG but is a re-release of a game that was massively successful on PS3.

It's a decently fair contest as it's a new game, that was heavily bundled, hyped and given away for free vs a re-release of a hugely successful and critically acclaimed game with a larger install base.

The game of last generation vs the game of this generation! Which one will be remembered in a couple of years..
