I think it wasn't to bad of an idea to have all these Forum options we have, but over time seeing how often some get posted in then others maybe we should start getting rid of some or combining some with others, just rethinking it all, trial and error. So I've come up with something maybe you guys will like or not like some opinion to tweak it would be great (I don't expect anything will be done about it though).

I think it should just be simple, for the Gaming Forum we don't need MMO, Mobile, Game Specific boards, it's been atleast a month since people post there, hell Game specific has been last posted in JULY! Not needed, let's just keep it with Gaming, Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, PC because there the most popular and Online forum will take care of MMO and Online forum and if people wanted to post about game specif or Mobile then they can go to the gaming forum.

Sales forum is simple just keep it as one forum about sales like it was, why spilt it in two, both forums are basically describing each other "Discuss the latest sales charts in here", "Japan, North America, Worldwide sales - press releases, predictions all in here", it's the same description! Let's just make it the sales forum again, it's not like there was ever an overwhelming amount of post in there, it was just always a few threads that get hundreds of post.

Website Forum has been a problem since it was changed, Announcements, website issues and website feedback can easily go into one thread for the amount of times it posted in so Everything website related fits it good. Introduce yourself is good keep that and also add a Users of VG Chartz forum, a place for people to post about the users, this is surprisingly needed.

Off topic is another forum with a lot of unnecessary topics. I may need a better name then "Media or news" but I think Movies, Music, Sports and Politics should all be in one forum, maybe the TV Forum??, there's barely any post in those topics, NSFW is needed so keep that there and give the fucking front page privilegdes back to General Discussion this is ridiculous no one posts there anymore, it use to be by far the most popular place at VG Chartz, the only thing that should not be in the front page is NSFW for obvious reasons.

So that's what I'm thinking, it's almost like going back to what it use to be, but give me your ideas or thoughts from what I posted.

Edit: I see colors and edits to tables don't work in VG Chartz either...*sigh*

Edit 2: Just added Chain threads to off topic, I think that was part of the reason Brett got rid of Off topic from the front page, it was cluttered with chain threads (rate the user above you, Rate the song above you etc.)

The site isn't complete without off topic. Sometimes ya just, wanna say stuff whether it matters or not. But then again, the moderation that would have to occur...

I'll be campaigning for a "joke thread" section until the day I die.

Threads like the most popular user or most attractive user or if people want to have a topic about a user, obviously the wall is just for one on one conversation a thread about a user is a community conversation.
