I wonder if the Driveclub hold is only thanks to the bundle or if last weeks positive internet buzz had something to do with it as well. Anyway great week for the PS4.

If we go by Amazon UK Driveclub standalone version is doing better than the bundle.

Yeah in the UK the PS4 deals are very, very good. really advertising the PS$ like crazy here, both 3rd party retailers and SONY ads.

At least in the UK, Sony dont seem to be just laying down and accepting the ONE deals.

Very competitive here. Possibly the most competitive maket there is.

Hard to call the week on hardware, possibly PS4 just edging it or a tie? Either way, both will be still selling gangbusters.

I think the reason why you are seeing more aggressive pricing in the UK is because both have more breathing room in the UK  as far as pricing.  I hate to say it but the starting price for both consoles was above what would have been acceptable in the US.... and I understand the taxes argument, but pound for pound, the entry price for an Xbox One now in the UK is over $200 USD cheaper than when it launched.  Neither Sony, or Microsoft are going to do that in the US.

100% bundle. You basically can't buy a ps4 without it in the UK.

You're wrong on this one. Driveclub is just one of the many bundles available in UK. There is also PS4 standalone, PS4 + GTA V, PS4 + Far Cry 4, PS4 + FIFA 15 + Minecraft, PS4 + COD: AW on Amazon UK itself. So most likely after playing the game people realised how awesome it is and bought it.

Read what I put after. I know there are other bundles out there, but Driveclub is easily the most bundled game.

I'm not sure amazon is a very good indicator in the UK.  The charts seem very erratic and often dont reflect the actual official charts too well.

Yep, I can't see many people getting consoles from there at the moment. Awful bundles compared to Game. Can't believe I'm saying that!

I saw these numbers on GAF:

FIFA 15 - 118,729 / 2,388,473 (-21%)
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare - 108,740 / 1,565,028 (-27%)
Grand Theft Auto V - 94,759 / 789,926 (-22%)

Does anyone know if they are legit?

Yes within margin of error. It's calculated on WOW differences given my GFK CT.

Yet he said using Amazon is not a good indicator for UK as others seem to fit better.

No, you're wrong. Amazon isn't the main player in the UK.  the game is heavily bundles in most of the decent value bundles out there.

Is it? Most bundles I've seen don't have Drive club included, inc the Argos one which is the better one I've seen. I think word of mouth post patch and the all the gifs flying around the internet are probably having a bigger impact than people think.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

It's probably having some impact but the game wouldn't be so high without the bundles. Doesn't really matter though since the game should now be over 1m globally and therefore not a flop!

So Ryse isn't a flop either then?
