Forums - Gaming Discussion - Why US=World argument might actually be legitimate

What is this rambling about? Fact is xbox needs US badly because not doing well in the USA it would be a global failure. PS4 isn't in the same boat it can do merely Ok in the USA and still be the highest selling console globally by a pretty wide margin.

That's why for Xb one USA=the world. But for PS4 and even Wii U the world=the world.

I think you meant "globally in the centre of the universe."

0/10 would not click again

Just because the US media generates the most hype does not mean console owners in other countries buy less games.

It is important for Xbox to have the largest marketshare in the US, because they don't stand a chance anywhere else except for maybe the UK.

Yeah, but sorry OP as others have said already, this is completely wrong and a poor attempt at justification. US might be the top single region, but it doesn't out weigh the other regions combined, especially considering the lack of brand loyalty.
You make assumptions about software sales WW vs that of America that are completely based on fabricated ideas. There aren't any facts here.

And region-to-region comparisons aren't US >>>> UK or (moreso) US >>> Europe.

OMG... so people actually really think like this???

I wonder if you have ever set foot outside your city/town/state/country. You post reeks of the blatant ignorance I find in some americans. Then again you probably aren't older than 14 so I guess this kinda mindset is acceptable.

I think his mental age isn't more than 14, but he may be 20 or 30, who knows. Americans need to stop thinking just in their territory and open the eyes to the world.

No US isn't the world. It may not even be the largest territory (because of EU). X360 ruled the US and ended last the gen, go figure. And remember that the US is eraly adopter, so relying only on it kill your legs, just like we see the PS3 now outselling the X360 by a larger margin each year.
