I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Oh, Rime has been confirmed for 2015 though :)

Updated the OP with this picture.

I think it will drop below 180k on a regular basis, especially during the Summer Drought of Games (Winter drought, for those of you in the southern hemisphere).

Won't bet on it, though.

My bet : Lowest week in 2015 for PS4=130k, XOne=50k, WiiU=40k.  We will see who is right by Sept. A long way to go :)

it came fairly close this year so I'll say definitely with Sony's usual growth in the second and third years.

ps4 is in line for a huge year, but I think you will lose your bet before the end of feb.

Why would you think that? :)

potentially constrained supply if xmas is as big as it looks like it could be, combined with usual drop off post xmas and no games till late jan. then you have the midyear drought. It will be a great year but it I would bet it is going to drop below the 180k mark quite a few times (no where near as many as this year).

It will in the summer a few times and I will take the bet. Along with some other dates in the year. mainly in the beginning of the year.

quite a bold prediction! 175k and I'm in!
Though it's really tough to call.

The only problem is that those summer months really do drag.

They'll be 30% above this year, easy...but 30% over every week is a different story.

I'd say no week under 160.

I will even bet it drops below 150,000 one time this year, most likely in July.

Also if Xbox one stays competitive on Price, then it is a guarantee they will drop below that number and a lot. People will be inclined to take the cheaper deal.
