I could totally see this happening.2015 is gonna be a great year for the PS4, probably one of the best in its lifetime.

Wow, impressive graphs and charts!

Yeah, I'm in agreement. So far the year is paced incredibly well. Hopefully Tearawa, Ratchet or No mans land will fit into July/August. We will also be seeing Mad Max probably coincide with the film and so release in summer. Just Cause also screams Q3 for me, so it may be a August title.

The issue really isn't the first half of PS4's second year on the market. What's stopping the PS4 from achieving that feat is the summer season. I don't think Batman Arkham Knight is going to be able to carry on the PS4 until the beginning of September ...

Unless MGS5:PP also comes in the summer too. But yh, I am with you on this one. That summer period is bound to bring at least one sub 180k week. Or the week before the inevitable price drop, unless sony does it like they usually do and drop the price on the same day its announced.

I think it depends on the price of the console... At the $399 price point, I could easily see it tracking below 180k at least 1 week. The games matter too. There's some good looking titles being released... If they pan out.

This bet might be over by February.

You could make this bet a bit safer by saying it won't sell under 360k in two consecutive weeks to catch slumps before big game releases that have bundles.

I think there's going to be a couple of "in between" weeks where the PS4's weekly numbers will drop off between major releases, especially in the spring and early summer, so I could definitely see it happening.

I predict the PS4 will do a minimum of 6 weeks under 180k in 2015.
