Zelda - 100% day 1
XCX - 99% day 1 =P
Splatoon, Mario Maker, Yoshi - potential purchases
Star Fox - very doubtful but we will see
Kirby, Mario vs DK, CTTT, MP10, Devils Third - no chance... unless bargain bin, being Nintendo though no chance =P

Some Nintendo-published games do end up dropping in price eventually - you can find Nintendo Land and NSMBU pretty cheap now, for instance. I wouldn't be surprised if Devil's Third drops pretty quickly as it looks like a very niche game.

Kirby and MP10 will probably take a lot longer, though.

2 other Aussies in this thread can tell you what its like down here. Hint: Its not good =(

Wait, what? I'm in Australia, too. But that's what online shopping is for.

Lol, then you should know Nintendo games never even go half price. Online can be slightly better but never amazing, not like the $20-25 PS3 games I pick up a year after their release.

1. Xenoblade Chronicles X - The original Xenoblade Chronicles is my all-time favorite game, so needless to say my expectations are high. Can't wait to run around and explore that huge, awesome world and grind and quest to my heart's content! 100% chance of purchase

2. The Legend of Zelda - This could end up being number 1, but I'll need a proper trailer, title, story info, some music, and dungeon gameplay to know for sure. Looks fantastic so far though! 100% chance of purchase

3. Splatoon! - Looks like a blast, and I have friends who will get it as well so we'll have fun playing it online! The single-player mode looks legit, too! 100% chance of purchase

4. Yoshi's Woolly World - Stunningly beautiful and adorable. 100% chance of purchase

5. Star Fox - Obviously will need to see what it's like, but as long as it's like a serious, fully featured game I can't really imagine NOT getting it unless reviews/previews for it are awful. 80% chance of purchase

6. Mario Maker - 60% chance of purchase

7. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse - 50% chance of purchase

8. Mario Party 10 - No online is no bueno. 10% chance of purchase

9. Mario Vs. Donkey Kong - 5% chance of purchase

10. Devil's Third - 0% chance of purchase

11. I already own Captain Toad and it may very well be my game of the year! :D

Upcoming Games To Get

Definite: Kirby Star Allies (Switch), Mario Tennis Aces (Switch), Fire Emblem (Switch), Yoshi (Switch), Pokemon (Switch), Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4), Monster Hunter World (PS4)

Considering: Fe (Switch), Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (Switch), The World Ends With You (Switch), Ys VIII (Switch), Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition (PS4), Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Remix (PS4), The Last Guardian (PS4), Shadow of the Colossus HD (PS4), Anthem (PS4), Shenmue 3 (PS4), WiLD (PS4)

Am I allowed to name online retailers on here? Not sure. Anyway, I know at least one place that's got NSMBU for about $30 at the moment and Nintendo Land for just over $15. I'm not saying it happens often but it does happen.

Ozgameshop! I don't like buying new games from there. It takes so long to arrive. But they are good for the cheap multiplat.

Aussies in the house!

It's generally pretty easygoing here, I've never been pulled up for coarse language in my time on VGChartz. The mods can correct me if I'm wrong here, but I don't think swearing breaks forum rules. Everyone lets rip all the time.
