Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Rank the 11 Nintendo-published Wii U games set for next year.

In terms of how excited you are for them, just out of curiosity. I'm sure Zelda will probably be at the top of many lists but I'm interested to see what people care about most aside from that. FYI, these are the 11 retail (or most probably retail) Nintendo-published games we already know about that are likely to release in 2015:

- The Legend of Zelda

- Xenoblade Chronicles X

- Mario Party 10

- Devil's Third

- Splatoon

- Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (in some parts of the world)

- Mario vs. Donkey Kong

- Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

- Mario Maker

- Yoshi's Woolly World

- Star Fox

Not too shabby. I've left out Project Guard and Project Giant Robot since it's a bit less clear what form those games will take, but I suppose you can rank them as well if you want.

Around the Network

For the record, for me:

1. Xenoblade Chronicles X
2. The Legend of Zelda

If both of those actually make it out around Xmas, I'm probably going to be busy for a very long time.

3. Yoshi's Woolly World
4. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

Both also day one purchases.

5. Devil's Third - just because it looks weird. I like weird.
6. Mario Maker
7. Splatoon
8. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
9. Mario vs. Donkey Kong

I'll probably pick all of those up at some point, though I may wait for their prices to drop a little, depending on how I feel. The last two are the only ones I'm iffy on:

10. Star Fox - this may change once I know more about it.
11. Mario Party 10

It actually looks like a pretty good year for Nintendo-published software. Aside from those last two, everything else is something I'll probably want to pick up at some point. Even Mario Party 10 doesn't look bad, it's just harder to get excited about that when there's already a lot in the way of party games on the console.

Zelda - 100% day 1
XCX - 99% day 1 =P
Splatoon, Mario Maker, Yoshi - potential purchases
Star Fox - very doubtful but we will see
Kirby, Mario vs DK, CTTT, MP10, Devils Third - no chance... unless bargain bin, being Nintendo though no chance =P

1. ZeldaU
2. Xenoblade Chronicles X
3. Mario Maker
4. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
5. Yoshis Woolly World
6. Devils Third
7. Star Fox
8. Splatoon

The remaining 3 I don't care about at all...

Some Nintendo-published games do end up dropping in price eventually - you can find Nintendo Land and NSMBU pretty cheap now, for instance. I wouldn't be surprised if Devil's Third drops pretty quickly as it looks like a very niche game.

Kirby and MP10 will probably take a lot longer, though.
