Xbox seems to be missing something that all its competitors have: Remote Play (Everyone calls it something different, but we'll just say Remote Play for simplicity). It's on PS4 (Vita and Xperia) Wii U (Gamepad) and even PC (Nvidia Shield). Could Microsoft add Remote Play support to Xbox, perhaps in on Windows 10 PCs, phones, tablets, and other devices?

This is something I've thought about for a while, but Phil Spencer saying "It's time for us to talk about gaming on Windows" helps to reinforce this theory.

I think it's absolutley possible! They have the infrastructure needed for it, in the form of Azure. And it would certainly be a great selling point for Windows Phones! (Not that Remote Play saved the Vita, but anyway).

What do you think? Would Microsoft do something like this?

That would be cool but no feature like that exists in the Beta so far but would be awesome

Yeah I'd like that feature but I don't want to buy a Windows tablet.

Actually, it is quite the opposite for me, I want to play on my Surface :)
But if this happens I hope they will make it compatible with Windows 10 on any device!

I want them to launch an X1 Cloud solution so that I can play my X1 collection even if I'm not at home where the X1 is :).

Most XB games need you to use the control stick at the same time as the triggers. When you say you want to play on your Surface are you expecting to have a controller with you? Otherwise I don't see how those games would work well with only a touchscreen.

That's true. This can only be good if MS makes a gamepad type controller but that will probably be expensive.

Remote play is so useful for turn based games, that i think it where it really shines since lag is not an issue there. It so useful for when someone else wants to use the TV, if xb1 had more turnbased games and JRPG's i could see the value there

No, Im talking with my Xbox One controller plugged into my Surface (USB). I already have it plugged in and it works so now they just need to stream the content :) (both ways...)
