That would be great. I think that if they would do a relaunce beginning 2015 with some additional cars, it will be a great succes. Up to now this is in my opinion the best race  game up to now for this gen. 

Japan is coming as a new location, Yellowstone would be an awesome location too for driveclub.
I'm tempted to buy the crew just to cruise through all the national parks in the usa. Probably won't be near as good as I imagine.

I have the Crew, but now with all the patches of Driveclub I'm really hooked to Driveclub again and I don't have the urge to play The Crew. Eventhough I was ok with my first play on The Crew, when I stopped with the  game I didn't had the urge to play it anymore. Maybe it was just plain stupid to buy the game just when with the patches Driveclub became my addiction. Maybe I have to wait for a few weeks until my addiction wears off  and with the new patche in January ofor the Crew it might get me hooked and I can start a new addiction

There is NOTHING coming close to DriveClub and holy god i hope Gran Turismo 7 can top that.

Now Sony has the 2 best Racing franchises and im glad DriveClub is selling well especially after all the problems and bad press it had just cause it isn't some unwanted Open World Hipster stuff.

and Eurogamer bitch about games not having next gen gameplay. what game last gen (or this gen for that matter) can compare to this? the weather system and sound effect the gameplay so fucking much. im seriously thinking about picking this up. holy fuck man

If the AI wasn't shit, I would agree. At times I really enjoy playing Driveclub....Until I get rammed off the track or the AI doubles its speed out of nowhere. It has great moments, and it has the best weather effects in any game (no matter the genre or platform), but fuck this game overall.

It does seem like they lessened the collision penalties (Didn't mind the cornering one) quite a bit though. They should take them out completely considering the AI can't resist colliding into you every chance it gets though.

The AI isn't shit if you drive well, but it doesn't scale down properly. It never doubles it speed out of nowhere, they can take a corner better and draft slingshot around you so it looks like that. I can do the same to them anyway. (Drafting is pretty exaggerrated) They only collide with me when I cut them off blocking their line, it's simple physics combined with AI that won't back down. Actually they'll sacrifice their line trying to out brake you, stopping you from passing them. Be in the right spot and they'll go wide, slow down in the grass and be far behind you after the corner. Once you accept the AI are just as much a bullie on the tracks as you, you'll find lots of ways to deal with them. You don't have to be a bullie though, I have also won plenty events with a clean event bonus.

I agree it can be very frustrating when you're just starting the game. Curse words were used and controllers were slightlyy harmed on my way to the legend trophy :/

Buy it, it's fantastic. Mindblowing graphics and great gameplay/handling. The sense of speed is incredible. 

2 new Tour modes and new cars are out now, if you have the season pass. There is plenty content without though with all the challenges. Elements tour probably has weather events. I only did a couple of the redline tour events so far.

I'm still very much addicted to DriveClub, but now also SpinTires. It was on sale for $10. From the super fast to the ultra slow. Real next-gen physics, wrestling old soviet trucks through mud and water trying to deliver logs. Luckily all trucks have a winch you can attach to trees to get unstuck. I still drowned my jeep and dropped my log truck on its side. Too bad the game also represents everything wrong with next-gen games. Always-on drm (quits you out if your internet or wifi drops for a bit) and early access that's currently unsure if it will get continued development. Great for $10 anway, even if it doesn't get further support and stays in beta.

Edit: And the developer just released a broken patch that wiped all my progress on all maps, and all settings. I guess they released the unfinished buggy new map since they are quitting. Lol doesn't even have a finished name "level_thepit" Gotto love pc gaming :/ Puts DC launch troubles into perspective.

Interesting idea. On one side, people might be convinced to give the game a chance now, but on the other side it might not work at all because in general quite some people have already lost interest in the game.
