I think quite a lot of people still like the track racers.  I know that nowadays there seems to be a trend for "open world" pretty much everything but for me, especially on the other PS systems the one game I looked out for on release was.....Ridge Racer.  To this day I think for OTT arcade racing, these still sit top of the pile (apart from the god awful Unbounded last gen).

I think Driveclub, now its all fully up and running, "kinda" fills the gap left by no RR on PS4.

Doesn't matter. Sony broke their promise twice and they are acting like no such thing as ps+ version. I'll be continue to use my friend's ps+ until they have something to get me resub. IDK if I still have interest when it finally become available for ps+ members though.

Did you even read the rest of the paragraph? Its an absolute must-have track based arcade racer. Its an amazing game with very good gameplay. Driveclub will sell because its a damn fine game.

Haters gonna hate. I agree with you 100% most people who have actually player d it will. People who havent will watch a vid on YouTube and read a bad review and dismiss it. Case and point^^

Yeah and unfortunately the vast majority on the internet belongs to the type who base their opinions on others opinions of a game that is reviews. They criticise  agame even though they have never played it, just because of some reviewer.

And thanks to the large Nintendo fanbase on this site, I see DC being grouped with crappy games like Ryse and KZ: SF, which is a shame.

otta agree. This is one really really really good game now.Pure racing fun. Racing at night, in the rain? Damn, was a gaming first for me.

Anyone wondering why this is a big deal will have to play driveclub at night and in the rain to get what i mean.

Just a reminder, the game was supposed to be a launch title, was delayed to nearly a year later, and it still released without the dynamic weather system.
Makes your wonder what the hell is wrong with Evolution. It would probably score in the low to mid 80's if it was released complete,

All I know is that I'm not a racer fan, but I'm buying it when I get a ps4. It looks awesome.

Pre-patch drive club > boring...

Pos-patch for Weather > Very good, the thing gave a new life to the game!

That doesn't matter anymore, because weather patch is now live, and its awesome.
