Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Remember how I said my local Best Buy had 65 Wii U's for sale a while back?

When did they stock those 65?

Spurge, don't you work for Walmart? Don't you know how retail works? I'm sure they have sold more than 20, it's not like the systems you counted before was their entire holiday stock. They get new shipments to replenish product multiple times a week...

Go 20 go!

20 wii U's per Best buy, times how many stores?

Then we have till the end of the year.

Then do the same to other big department stores and gamestop. Then worldwide.

Is that at ten million?

No i dont think so. Im just hoping by 1st week january wii u is at 10million. That figure may be enough to entice abit more third party support.

My local Stereo Studio had the same premium bundle stting in a display case from launch until spring this year, where I bought it. They were not at the time planning to get a new one to replace it in the store. Or any games to go with it. Understandably.

Wii U sales are horrible here in Scandinavia. For anyone who're still carrying it at least. Most depart stores, toy stores, and high street electronics stores have dropped it, so you only find it in specialist stores now.

Actually I do and funny enough, I do not think you do.

Why would they buy more? They have 45 left! We order when we have zero left or when I take matters into my own hands and order some.

They have only sold 20. Be logical about it from a business stand point. They would not order more for a while, especially since they have sold less than one a day on average.

By the way my Walmart has froze ordering Wii minis and 2DS systems.....

Well, having worked at best buy for six years, i have a very good idea of how they manage their inventory.  They do not let stock run out of game systems (if they can help it anyway).  They are constantly restocking that product, walmart is stupid if they are letting it completely run out.  When i worked there they tried to keep the stock level up to around 80-100 during the holidays for each system.  Since you counted that stock before super smash and black friday, i am quite sure the store sold more than 20 systems.  That is why your stock counting at random stores is silly.  Unless you are there to track replenishments, it is completely worthless...

Maybe they restocked a few?
