It's good for me because, if my pc can run the game (which I highly doubt it), I can play it sooner than normally, seeing as I won't buy a PS4 for quite a few years =(
If only Square would release FFXV on PC as well... with the recent XIII ports, I'm hopeful.

I still don't understand the reason why Metal Gear Solid Snake came to console and neglecting the PC. There must be a strong reason behind that and money hating is out of question because PS 1 was sold crazy and dominate in console market at that times.

What cpu and gpu do you have?  How much ram?

 

You would be surprised.  With the latest advances in integrated graphics most  modern PC's can play just about every game to some degree.



Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

LOL  "Microsoft Platform."  Yeah windows is made by MS, but they get a cent of the money made by 99% of the games sold on "their" platform.  If Linux or Mac had been as popular MGS would have been on them instead.

I love the strench of brand loyalty, it makes it easier to see those who would rather berate the view of actual choices for other platforms.

I'll be grabbing it on PC since I'm planning on a new build come Feb and I skipped out on GZ with the knowledge that both PP and GZ will be coming to PC, my friends are mostly PC players by now (with Wii U's as the compliment console) so it makes buying both that more easier for me since I'll be able to play the online mode with them.

I'm also glad that Kojima/Konami decided to branch out the series to other platforms because now it's able to reach far and garner more audiences around the world, the user base on Steam currently outnumbers the PS3 and PS4 combined (this is a fact) along with users on Steam generally wanting to play the majority of the MGS franchise and Kojima wanting to give them what they want only means more enjoyment, more people getting into the franchise and more money to boot.

I actually have a notebook. It seems to be able to run quite a number of games, like Arkham Origins and, based on youtube videos, even something as recent as Shadow of Mordor. To my dismay though, it can't handle Dolphin because the CPU is too weak =(

It has a Core i7 1,9GHz, 6GB of RAM and an Intel HD 4000 (an integrated, onboard gpu). I obviously don't plan on running anything on high or even medium =P
