Should Vgchartz start tracking figurines?

Yes! Go Nintendo! 16 45.71%

Yes! Go Disney! 1 2.86%

Yes! Go Activision! 0 0%

Who gives a fuck! 18 51.43%

Total:35

I don't even know if it's possible, but I think it would be swell fun to start tracking the various figurines on the market. With 3 major players in the business now, the time is ripe to start keeping tabs on these thingymajigs. Anyone know what it would take to implement this?  Would anyone else be interested in Vgchartz keeping numbers on these? I'm just an idea man, now it's time for the smart folk to make it happen!

"Games are a trigger for adults to again become primitive, primal, as a way of thinking and remembering. An adult is a child who has more ethics and morals, that's all. When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."

i'd be more interested in keeping track of something like blu ray Vs DVD or iOS Vs Android. Even Windows market share breakdown.

But this is a video game site not any of the things I listed or you mentioned so by answer is no.

That seems ... hard. Skylanders should be well over 200 million toys sold after this Christmas.

mobile games are even more related and this site doesn't track those. Toys are way down the list of priorities on here.

I see your point, but to be fair this site doesn't track digital downloads for any platform.

I don't see why so many people are interested in figurine nsale numbers. They're not relevant enough IMO and it's too hard to track them, I suppose.

Nintendo already released numbers of amiibo for usa and japan if that helps
