That's not what I meant by that joke.  I was saying the #1 reason to not pre-order The Order is that you simply don't own a PS4.

Ive had my doubts about The Order for a while. It just doesn't seem to have 'it'.

It's absolutely excruciating watching "gameplay" of this title. I mean there's a fucking QTE/button prompts for something like a character doing a 3.2.1 countdown. Like seriously? You know it's bad when you gotta push triangle for a character to say 3....triangle, 2....etc.

Honestly. I get the impression that the guys who made this realized at some point that there's way too much cutscene compared to gameplay so they just threw in button prompts everywhere to make the player feel like they're actually contributing to the experience.

It's meant to keep you engaged throughout the entire game, even whilst you are not in actual control (ie a cutscene). Would you rather the character just say 3 2 1 grenade without you doing anything? Maybe you prefer that, and thats fine, but I like to feel engaged in a video game and the fact that they are actually letting you participate even in a cutscene is absolutely fantastic for me. Now instead of putting the controller down and watching the cutscene you can actually "play" a cutscene, even if it is just a button prompt. 

Of course I would rather just watch the cutscene, because what this game is doing is false engagement. You're not really required in these sections for these completely trivial actions. If I said I wanted that to feel engaged then next I might as well ask Hollywood to force me to push the play button on my movies over and over again throughout, just to make sure I'm still there and willing to see further in.

Throwing button prompts in all over the place in scenes where every single step is predetermined is not a substitute for actual gameplay.

i have read it and was wrong with it. he was talking about all the events that has h appened in one yeaer and what was said its true especially with psn going down alot. To some extent i do agree with eurogramer preview for ps4's first year.  For me ps4 has been disappointing. apart from killzone , knack, ISS and the last of us   there hasn't been anythign great since then. Out that list the last of us for me is only great game followed by ISS. the other two ar epretty mediocre. i even had to buy third party games , just so that my ps4 can get some love , instead of collecting dust.  Guess liek ollie from eurogamer, he was looking for more AAA instead of tonnes of indies and third party games. Having that opinion is fine as well and not anti sony

Well to be fair, it's pretty well known that you won't really see any must have games within the first year of any new console. Maybe 1-2 if you're lucky. PS3 had 0 for like 2 years. 360 had almost nothing as well..wii? nothing until smash. WiiU...don't even go there. I mean, not even 3ds or vita really had anything that great.

That may be true, but to be fair, it depends on the invidual. For example for me, the must have game i wanted for XO was ryse, KI and Dead rising 3. Those  were games that i knew, i will get when i got my XO and for the ps4 it was TLOU. Both i enjoyed throughly.  Plus if you are talking third party games then theres a few that are must have and one of them is DAI . Thats one hell of an rpg :). For Wiu my must have game would be Windwaker, Super mario 3D world and bayonetta 2. Oh with 3DS i had deven more must to haev games haha. The list is huge with that one. Vita didn't have any and is pretty much unused atm. it just there to look at it lol. Again my must have game will differ from yorus and many others here.  For me , like that eurogamer guy, ps4 was disappointing in its first year. Its good machine but games atm for me is not so great.

I mean a Sony fan or someone who wants to xp a new ip and know's very little about RAD will buy this game regardless of what EG or disgusting guys such as urself may think or say, i will get banned for this i know but then again its not like im very active here lately.

there are fans and fanboys of all consoles and brands everywhere and i respect a MSFT fan much more than people like u, u are someone who thinks its fine to ridicule everything and everyone and no one gonna say that u can suck it? there, I said it, STFU and get a life u low life.

Of course this wasn't moderated. Say something like this about Xbox or Nintendo fans and you'll be instantly banned. Why don't you actually contribute something to the thread rather than your constant petty jabs at Sony fans.

OT: There's no reason to ever preorder anything. The bonuses aren't that great and you can just wait a day for the reviews if you don't have enough confidence in the product.
