Should Nintendo consider removing the gamepad from future WiiU bundles.

Remove the gamepad 98 34.75%

Keep the gamepad 155 54.96%

View results 29 10.28%

Total:282

This as been a topic of discussion and many of you feels that removing the gamepad from the WiiU should never be brought up again.

Well let's put it to a vote. If this threads result in 50% of Vgchartz user thinking the gamepad never be removed I personally will never bring it up and you could use this poll has example to stop all future thread that might deal with the gamepad issue.

But, on the other hand if more then 50% vote that the gamepad should go.... you will have to admit that the gamepad might actually be a real issue and we bring up a valid point in wanting to remove it.

There is no poll.

Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287

I say we do this:

If this poll shows that everyone agrees that the gamepad should be removed we will send a letter to Nintendo asking them to do it.

If it doesn't then you permaban yourself. That seems like a cool bet don't you think?

"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"

I actually think the idea of having a separate package that's cheaper without the gamepad is pretty good, but abandoning it entirely would be foolish. Also, they should sell gamepads separately.

Poll will obviously end with 'keep the gamepad' winning.

But IMO it shouldn't even be a keep or don't keep thing, there should just be an option for those that would rather have a cheaper console. I don't see why Nintendo can't keep their current Wii U models while also offering a cheaper alternative with no gamepad.

well if you want a cheaper console with gamepad .... then you vote keep. The poll is just to see if people think it should go.

I doubt many people legitimately want it completely gone. If they want a gamepadless Wii U and can get one why would they want to stop people that want the gamepad included from getting that?

It would be like Microsoft did with Kinect 2.0, the system would work without it... but you can buy it separately .
